Store Policy

Rental Period:

• Books are rented for some time as per your selection.

• The rental period begins from the next date the book is delivered.
   

Rental Fees and Deposits:

• A rental fee of Rs.250/- will be charged per book.

• A returnable deposit will be required for each book rented.

• The deposit will be refunded in full upon the timely return of the book in its original condition, subject to the conditions outlined below.
   

Return of Books:

• You will receive an email/sms on the date and time when our delivery agent will pick up the book from you 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time.

• You can change the delivery time slot up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.

• If you would like to return the book before your 'Read Time',  please reach out to our customer care. However, the rental amount remains the same.

• The returnable deposit will be refunded upon inspection of the returned book.
   

Book Condition and Responsibility:

• Customers are responsible for the care and safe return of rented books.

• Books must be returned in the same condition as when they were checked out.

• Damage to books, including but not limited to:

  • Water damage

  • Torn or ripped pages

  • Excessive writing or highlighting

  • Spine damage

• Will result in a deduction from the returnable deposit, or the full forfeiture of the deposit, depending on the severity of the damage.
   

Late Returns:

• A late fee of Rs.20/- per day will be charged for books returned after the 'Rent Time' * selected and will be deducted from the deposit.
  * This may be due to failure to return the book during the time slot selected by you for return.
   

Policy Acceptance:

• By renting a book, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions of this rental policy.
